It was the most wonderful time of the year at JOYKIDS as we celebrated the season of giving during the annual Christmas Charity Bazaar. This year the proceeds from the event went to help support Dignity for Children, a Malaysian non-profit organization that cares for and educates underprivileged Malaysian children. Getting us in the mood for tinsel and presents were special performances by the Dignity for Children staff, singing classic Christmas Carols, as well as a delightful performance by the JOYKIDS Ballet students. Even Santa came to join the festivities, handing out candies and Christmas cheer to good boys and girls throughout the event.
For the busy mums and dads, the bazaar featured a number of vendors selling an array of stocking stuffers and gifts for everyone on their Christmas list, with each participating vendor donating a portion of their proceeds to Dignity for Children. Amazin' Graze, Handmade Heroes, Cottle Coffee, and Ristic Apothecary are just some of the much-loved brands that came to support this worthy cause. While mum and dad were busy shopping, boys and girls were having fun at the Kid's Zone, a separate area filled with fun and engaging activities. With the Holly Jolly Cinema, The Bounce House, The Elf Craft Corner, and The North Pole Sensory Play, all the children were kept happy and occupied while their parents shopped and enjoyed the bazaar.
Making this a Christmas to remember, JOYKIDS built a lifesize Gingerbread House facade out of real gingerbread bricks in the school's reception, filling the area with smells of cinnamon and spice, and providing the perfect backdrop for family Christmas photos. Parents were encouraged to bring their child to the Gingerbread house to get their picture taken by our professional photographer, creating a lasting memory of Christmas 2019. We hope this Christmas is filled with laughter and joy for all, and we are so thankful for the participation of everyone in the JOYKIDS Family during this year's JOYKIDS Christmas Charity Bazaar.
