Robyn Combes

Robyn has been involved in Education since 1972 when she started teaching in Secondary Schools in South Australia. She gained a broad understanding of education and its practices and applications while mentoring and counselling her students. She spent more than 17 years in Christian International Schools in Jakarta and Beijing where she was a Career and Guidance Counsellor. These counselling experiences were very enriching and assisted her work with students and their culturally diverse families. She mentored and assisted students to understand their personality type, strengths, weaknesses, life skills, spiritual gifts and to identify their passion in life so they could identify their future aspirations.

Prior to her role as a Guidance Counsellor she held other positions as a Mathematics and Science teacher in several schools in her home state of South Australia. She also taught Business Math in a Technical College. On a personal note she enjoys travelling, crafts, exercising and spending valuable time with family.

Jane believes in a holistic education with love and respect in nurturing our young generation. She constantly offers parenting support and encourages positive parents’ involvement in early years. She believes parent involvement builds up a solid foundation for children and provides a better environment for children to develop. This will bring a lifelong positive impact on their personality and inspire their passions and future aspirations in life.
